Anyone know what this is?
Rusty and cool
How big is that?
Looks like an old version of the Piranha.
That's what I first thought of when I saw it. I had to get it because I figured it would interest you guys if nothing else.
I have no idea of the origins of that tool, but your avatar is most excellent.
That looks cool...
In a way that thing reminds me of a spanner we use in here to replace the 25 kgs. propane/butane gas bottles for the households.
Why thank you.
"...a spanner we use in here to replace the 25 kgs. propane/butane gas bottles..."
That is exactly what it is and just because it is rusty does not, necessarily, deserve the canotation "grandpa." My grandfather would never let anything that he considered worthy of his ownership to inexorably rust to the blatantly despicable depths of that implement.
I didn't mean to refer to the tool as being misused under the care of a grandpa. I meant the title as "grandpa to pocket tools" because the rust made it look as if it were older than the current generation.
No worries. I forgot to put a smilie on my post.
It's all good. O and an interesting fact. These two tools were bought at the estate sale of Elvis's dentist.
That's it then! It's a "tooth wrench" used on Elvis (value just shot up astronomically)!
I wish! Who wants a tool that touched the hand that was responsible for Elvis's teeth? I'll start the bidding at $10,000.
My customary fee will apply of course (never trust a banker; always trying to get your money).
We can go halfsies if you get anyone to believe our story and buy this thing.
I like your style! Could probably go all the way, and dig up an old tooth somewhere ... price just bumped up again!
Maybe its made by Peter Atwoods grandpa! Real cool. Nice find!
