    Hello all!

I've had a S.O Tech Mission Go bag for about 5-6 years now, but unfortunately, some thief lifted it out of my vehicle last night. So my question to you all is, I've been out of the game for a while, what's new and fantastic these days?

I like the compartments on the interior of the Go bag, easy organization.

    Exterior pockets are good too.

Durable, but pliable, without looking too military.

I'd like to keep the price point close to the S.O Tech, under $200.

I lean towards the North Face or other popular yuppie bags to deter theft from vehicle. Most thieves can spot a high dollar bag, especially if it looks tactical and patches etc. all over it. My $.02.

Yeah, I may just do that, but I was just checking to see if anyone had improved upon it.

The bag was not visible, it was on the back seat floorboard out of sight. Thieves were just pulling on door handles around the neighborhood, and it just happened to be one of the few times I forgot to lock up.

You might benefit from determining what your bag is really for, ie. EDC bag, Get Home bag, BOB (bug out bag), INCH (I'm never coming home bag), Go bag, 72hr bag (emergency bag). Work out what you need it for and then work out the size. I use a Rush 12 (multicam) as my EDC and a Rush 72 (black) as my fire fighting turn-out bag which stays in my vehicle 24/7 in the footwell where it cannot be seen even with a torch.

If your bag is going to sit in your vehicle consider a black bag and putting it in the footwell. A combination lock would go a long way to prevent thieves, loop it under the seat.

EDIT TO ADD: I purchased my Rush 12 and 72 for a combined price of about A$250 (Australian) which is about US$200.

You might want to look at a Mountainsmith Day bag. It is similar to a Mission Go Bag, comes in a bunch of colors and can be had for between $70-$90.
