TEC ones from the forum store do not include tritium. You'll have to source that yourself. But the tritium has a half life of ten years I think. Usually you'll drop and break it well before it dims.

The regular glow ones are sunlight charged and I am not sure what the life expectancy is, but the do sell replacements for them.

Well I was actually thinking about buying the one you have for sale so I was curious how much life it had left or if I should just spend a few extra bucks for a new one.

The one I have for sale is a simple glow in the dark fob; not tritium. The reason for the price difference versus the Isotope is the metal used. That glow fob is the titanium version. An Isotope would be steel I do believe.

The glow fobs also come in stainless and aluminum if you want to save some cash; plus I think there are conversion kits somewhere to enable them to hold tritium vials. They were released a few years before the Isotope came out.

It depends a bit on what you want it for. I don't have a glow fob but from glow powder on other items I would say that glow can be charged so that it is brighter than tritium (especially when you use a flashlight or a lamp) but it wont last very long. Tritium is weaker but will glow all the time, even after hours or days in the dark.

I just got a tritium fob in the mail today. It's quite awesome. Will get some more and one for a necklace made of 275 paracord.

They glow like crazy under black lights, so I plan to hang out and drink copious amounts of beer in places with black lights a lot (and scantily clad women).

I will be the coolest guy in town.
