I had trouble buying McGizmo clips are first. They are the best though. They are small enough that you don't notice them. High quality too. Don is a super nice guy too. Know you're supporting someone with character.

TEC's are too big for my tastes, but his Glow Fobs are the best!

I just got some of the TEC clips and they seem really good so far.

I picked up a dozen of the black Quick Release Keyrings from Photonlight.com that NaturalMystic mentioned, and threw them on my Lucky Line Figure 8 key ring for my EDC Keycahin. I am so far VERY pleased with them. Quality, functionality and a bit of style. http://www.photonlight.com/accessories/quick-release-keyring-black/

I'm sure they are essentially the same key rings mentioned here that are offered much cheaper by http://www.tecaccessories.com/Snap-Ring-12 So for all intensive purposes I'd recommend going for them - I just had to have em in black and didn't mind spending a little more. ;)

Big up and much gratitude for the tip NaturalMystic! Bless up.

Here's a recent 'pocket dump' of my EDC featuring the new configuration of my keychain with the black clips.

...Oh and props out to KAMM too for first mentioning these clips as alternatives. Personally JUST what I was looking for as a quality alternative to the McGizmo's. Appreciation guys, thanks. :smile_coffee:

What are "intensive purposes"? Rocket surgery? Brain science? ;)

Perhaps Anthologics meant to type "intents and purposes".

Yeah, yeah, pick on the newbie's grammer. ;) Excuse me, for all practical purposes is was I meant. Or 'for all intents and purposes' being the proper phrase. No rocket brain here. Cheers

Always gotta get a few more things to justify the shipping, huh. That's how they get you!

Only got two McGizmo clips left from my last forum store order. No planned use for them yet, bought a few extra for exactly the reason above.

I unfortunately fall into the habit of clicking "CLEARANCE" and "DAILY DEAL" and "ON SALE" and "STAFF PICKS" and "JUST ARRIVED" and ................, just to find enough to make it worth the shipping. By the time I hit "ACCESSORIES" or "MISC" I know I am in trouble.

Many times then I hit sort by "BRAND" just to see if I missed anything else I really need.

    Oh the sickness! :frantic:

yep...guilty. Though, I try to discourage myself thinking of it as a 'problem'. I justify my addiction as being smart investments in my own, and my families wellbeing. Have to remember, far too many people waste their money on waaaaaay less useful crap. What ya going to do with $300 neon glowing undercarage to your Honda when S H T F?
