A few weeks ago I posted pics of this period knife. I finally got around to finishing the sheath. Deer rawhide over tanned leather with sinew stitching. Leather fringes, antique tacks, Horse hair danglers with copper cones and glass beads, real wolf claw and Four directions medicine wheel made out of dyed porcupine quills. Hope you like it.

Although the style is not really my 'cup of tea', that doesn't mean I cannot or do not recognize and acknowledge the craftsmanship and aesthetic qualities. Kudos sir!

You're welcome. umm, actually my name is Moshe. The full name as written there can be translated as: Moshe (english = Moses), son (Hebrew = ben), of David

No worries; you'd have to be either Jewish or a Hebrew speaker to know this!

    All the best!

L'chaim! (old Jewish toast = 'To Life')

Tell your wife I said Sholom Aleichum. Truth is though, I'm not even close to fluent in Hebrew. I can do my prayers; don't always have ability to translate. Believe it or not, I'm more conversant in Mandarin Chinese. Long story...
