I've been downsizing the collection quit a bit these last few months by giving away all the lights I wasn't using. This will be my entire collection for a while:

Funny, I couldn't make the D25C work for me at all.

But I mostly use the low & moonglow mode on my lights/

    Hi Boom

The moonlight mode is the one things that is a must for me. At night I always want the light to start in moonlight, on the D25c Ti you can set it to do this. In this mode every time you click the main switch it will start in moonlight and then you can toddle up the sequence from moonlight to medium to high.

The first time I then use the light during the day I then reset it back to normal mode by clicking the light with the head loose then tightening it three times. Then I use it all day in low to medium to high. Then when I use it before going to sleep I set it back to moonlight mode.

The moonlight mode on the S10L2 is good do not get me wrong but I keep blinding my self with it during the day to see what mode it is in. Lol

Too day I used the D25C mini and I found the mode selection good but as it does not have the moonlight mode it can never be my only carry EDC.

There is a trick with the D25C clicky that I found out about on this forum, if you want to go back down to the lowest setting just half press the clicky for over about 0.5 - 1 sec and it will switch back to the lowest setting,

Wow... some low lumen fanatics - I don't feel so alone anymore :).

I'm an Eneloop/14500 guy and so don't own the D25C but I have D25As and I also use moonlight and low most of the time on my other lights. I think the problem with the D25s is that moonlight, and a good low, are on different programming banks and so when moonlight isn't quite enough, you're really stuck with medium if you don't want to constantly re-program the light. It's not so bad with the D25A since medium is ~ 7 lms (ML on) or ~15 lms (ML off), but I understand the D25C mediums are closer to 100 lms.... that's a huge step.

Sorry guys, I know I said D25C but mine actually was a clicky, a Ti one even [IMG]

I just found it too much of a pain to switch between the mode that has the moonglow & the one that doesn't every time I need a tad more brightness. It would have been fine if they just kept the low mode too in the setting with the moonglow mode, but as you know it skips right to medium in that setting which is just too bright the way I use my lights the most (close-up tinkering in dark spaces).

I think the lowest mode above moonglow mode is around 60 to 70 lumes on the D25C Clicky Reppans, but yeah, still blindingly bright when coming from moonglow. I thought it was the same on the D25A btw, I might have tried that one if I had known about that difference. But after my experience with Eagletac's customer service I probably won't be buying one of their lights ever again (it took them over 4 months to get me a replacement for my first faulty D25C Ti Clicky with a lot of convincing & whining from my end, never again).

I am very happy with both my S10s though, it's all the light I'll ever need really.

Unfortunately, not surprised at the way EagleTac handles customer service issues. A company that since Day 1 has outright lied to potential customers, likely going to try to screw over existing ones.

I just added the 2 lanterns to my collection of lights, they will be used for power failures at home. The large one is 3D 300 lumens for 57 hours/ low 65 lumens for 191 hours the small one is 3AA 50 lumens on high for 30 hours/ low is 8 lumens for 304 hours. They are Ozark Trail brand found at Walmart. [IMG]

Keith, quit fooling around with taking/posting pictures of light... your weather station says there is a "Storm Alert"... you need to get ready!:p

I sure hope the Weather Channel didn't name it.

How much did you get with that storm this week? We got about 14 inches here, and it's almost gone already!

We got pretty close to 18 inches I would say but today a lot melted temp hit nearly 48F. A woman I work with lives in the Tug Hill area which is about 15 miles north of me, she got over 2 feet.
