    These are awesome. O0

Are you planning to make these in other colors (like black)? Also, pardon my ignorance, what does the T-adapter do?

I might offer them in other colors, we'll have to see how these do :D

Thanks much for the compliment! The T adapter is something you put through the PALS column, then you can dummy cord onto the metal slide.

i keep finding myself wondering if by adding the right attachment points, one could have something that could be re-strapped to work as a sling or messenger bag as well as a backpack/rucksack...

Yeah that could work, have the shoulder straps held on with buckles at both ends, ditch one strap and buckle one to the opposite corner.

I find myself longing for a case for either my sun glasses or my see betters. The case should have a soft lining that would not scratch lenses.

hmmmm, so some kind of fleece as a liner? And by case, I'm just thinking either velcro or zipper. Did you mean a hard case?

Maybe even a little micro fiber bag within the nylon pouch.

so right now I'm envisioning somethin like a small microfiber bag (probably a drawstring closure) inside a 1000D cordura pouch of some sort (not totally sure of the closure method)

What is the size of Velcro Panels on Your photo? I'm looking for panel to add on my Pygmy Falcon II to make it compatible with patches :)

    would these ideas be useful?
how about having a zip-topped pouch like this with the microfiber lining (and the drawstring inside)
    or
with a flap like this with the drawstring inside, similar to the storm collars found on some backpacks and other pouches

@phaserrifle: I like the storm collar idea, I think I'm going to end up having a bag within a bag....

Here's another thought. I just finished mowing my lawn here in Houston and man, it is HOT. How about a waterproof tube that could hold ice and be worn aroung the neck. I usyally freeze some wet paper towels and then wrap them around my neck and that heps but doesn't last very long. Imagine how our guys and gals in the sand box would enjoy wearing something nice and cold around their necks for a couple hours at a time. I envision the usual ntlon outer with a zipper and inside a rubber zip lock bladder to hold the ice.

Better yet, I could just fill a cordura sleeve with a bunch of reusable ice packs.
