Brass bushing made (improvised) and installed without drilling the replacement blade.. here's what I did... First.. walked around Lowes forever until I found a brass fitting that was near the perfect OD and ID to act as a bushing for this blade swap. This is what I found: Brass compression insert fits almost perfectly as a bushing, this fit will tighten as we seat the bushing: Tools you will need (or something similar) to press the bushing into place and to "open" one end up for an easier fit of the pivot pin from the Leatherman: After you have pressed the bushing in place and have removed the pivot pin, us the grinder to clean the excess bushing material off: Once you are done, reassemble to tool with the new blade: A quick note.. when you first install the blade it is going to be a little tight. Work it back and forth (wear leather gloves or other protection) and it will loosen up. I still have some things to fix as the new blade is slightly canted up as you can see in this picture. I have tested cutting with the blade and there is zero impact to performance, but I am a stickler for appearances, so I am working on a mod to fix the alignment.
