There are worse titles.
Hail to the king, baby.
Had to make sure you were here in spirit this Christmas!!
I have all four of those that have been put out so far. Vader Yoda Stormtooper and of Course my favorite Mandalorian. Appreciate the thought.
New toys from the Flea Market!!
Happened upon an old Imperial Mess Set in Like New condition. Could not beat the price for Old School American Made. Need a kit for my "ultralight" pack anyways.
Helko Ranger - Hunter Hatchet $5
Last weekend's $11 haul that I forgot to post!
10" Holster in great shape and a NIB Smith's Tri-Hone with two sides of Arkansas Stone.
King of EDCF AND the flea markets. You find such awesome deals!
I can't take the credit other than walking slowly with my eyes open and having decent flea markets near me... People just rush past sooo much good stuff..
I miss flea markets that aren't thoroughly picked over by 8am. Good haul.
Lookin good FWB!
Just be happy you have a flea market to go to... (nope, not even in the warm summer time!)
I was to a car boot sale once... maybe twice. I think they do it there regularly, but that spot is ~300 miles to the south..
ok, you win.
No, I'm the one without a flea market... I still lose!
32 Miles away from Two Rivers according to the Map!!!
Ours does not open until 7am and there are over 400 stalls, not counting another 300+ outside "garage sale" tables. There is simply too much stuff to pick it over in an hour. I am there by 8am and find that people have barely scratched the surface most weekends.
It also doesn't exist.
(The event, not the place... I go to the place for the fair every year )
Sounds like someone mixed up our Farmers Market in the summer with a flea market, although its been in another location for about 6 years. And its weekly... but thats the closest thing I've ever heard of being at the fair grounds.
Test fitting of the Charge/Wave S30V blade in my "Single-Wing Sidekick".. it's not too long or too thick and it actually opens ALOT smoother than the original blade does. This fitting was with a temporary paper bushing installed to make sure it wasn't too long and that it would lock, etc.. I did notice that the blade will open "too far" and can "cant" upward in this condition. I am working on a solution for this as well.
We had our "Extended Family Christmas" today and I got a nice little surprise from my parents...
Boker Boker Plus Voxknives Rhino Knife in 12c27 Sandvik
Doesn't look bad at all (unless you don't have it pictured at full cant). I imagine the larger pivot hole might give you the wiggle room to file the back of the blade to lock square, and then recenter the pivot by drilling the rest of the tool out to the knife blade's pivot hole diameter, centered so it locks square rather than centered as it was before. Not that I would get a procedure like that right, mind you.
