Those are nice too, the DD is super lightweight and the finish is amazing on it. It is also one of the "cheaper" high end rails.

Nice GSR! I have the 16.5" blued barrel model. It's not a benchrest tack-driver, but it does well enough and it's easy to carry. I love it. :)

With the sequester / furloughs kicking in, I had to sell my AR-15 as times got tough. No worries, I'll get another one soon. In the mean time here is my summer time EDC gun. People bash the Kel Tec PF9, but I have had no issues with mine.[IMG]

    Those grips are nice!

How do you like the SR1911? I've taken a couple of looks at the Commander-sized version, it looks pretty decent to me.

How do you like that clip on the side? What's your usual carry position, etc?

The side clip was one of the reasons I got the pistol. It is super comfy to carry and even with a loaded mag, you hardly feel it there at all. I normally carry it in the 3:30 - 4:00 O'clock position. Summer time is pretty hot and humid here in middle TN so when I'm not dressed for work, I normally wear shorts and t-shirts. This tucks IWB just fine. The hard chrome I hope will help ward off any rust accelerated by sweat.
