    We have knives, flashlights, bags, and everything else. Why don't we have gun collections?

    Hey, I'm game.

    My EDC is an H&K P7 M8:

    My first large revolver was a Taurus Raging Bull in .44 magnum:

    I liked it so well that I got another and had the barrel shortened for easier concealment. I named this one the Minotaur:

    Helluva nice EDC. Expensive as all hell too. Course, looking at the short list of guns you put up there, that's a lot of money just in 3 guns.

    The P7's mechanism is unique and it does not handle like anything else. For me the differences are all good. I am significantly faster and more accurate with a P7.

    It's also an incredibly safe design but is still ready to fire, with a short single-action trigger pull. Since I carry it every day, and keep a round in the chamber, both aspects are important to me.

    What I did not expect when I first got it is how well it conceals. The P7 is not a compact design, but the M8 (single-column magazine) version is so flat that it conceals exceptionally well. I use an IWB holster part of the time, but it also fits well into the oversized back pocket on my 511s. I use a Robert Mika pocket holster for stability.

    I got a great deal on mine, which was a factory refurb. It was still right at the edge of what I could afford, but if something happened to mine I would save up and buy another one no matter how long it took.

    Thank you!

    Those three handguns make up a significant portion of my personal wealth. I really am a gadget geek even when it comes to firearms. {sigh}
