My 365 was getting lonely so I picked up an XL to keep it company. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just purchased the XL yesterday and shot it side by side with a Walther PPQ - another very recent purchase - so it's difficult to say how the P365 compares to the XL directly. My P365 is the quickest one shot gun I own...meaning from holster to first shot on target, it's pretty quick in my hands. That front sight, shared with the XL, is incredibly easy to pick up and the little 365 is perfectly balanced for the initial draw and shoot. After that first shot, it gets a bit more difficult and I start really concentrating on the sights and target instead of what's going on around me. Honestly, I do the same thing with larger guns but it takes longer. The range I was on yesterday didn't permit fast shooting. I will say that I thought the PPQ would flat out smoke the XL but that didn't happen. I was a little more accurate with the PPQ and it was more comfortable to shoot but my speed was limited to the rules of the shooting range and not the guns I was shooting.

That's a classic, CDK! S&W made those autos like tanks back-then. Many of my friends liked these in ten millimeter.
It looks like a 3rd Gen. 06-variant, just don't know which one. These were released in the 90's IIRC. It's a solid-piece in any regard. Perfect as a CCW option.
I carried a department issued 6906 as a duty pistol for 10 years. I felt that it was a little small for a patrol pistol. An awesome conceal carry though. When my department bought a different duty pistol, we were given the opportunity to purchase our respective pistol for a little over $100. Still one of my favorite guns ! It's nice to see other folks sharing the same feelings for these great guns.
