One of the finest, most unique sidearms ever created! Worked with a group that was issued the P7 before they changed to the horrible high-capacity VP707.
Thank you. One of the first guns I ever bought in the 80's as a young man. Walked in a pawn shop and there it was. Owner called it a lemon squeezer. I wanted the "lemon squeezer". It's been an ongoing love affair ever since. They are tack driving german staple guns. I still get weak in the knees when I see one out in the wild. Fortunately for my wallet, that rarely happens anymore.
The original “lemon squeezer” handgun was made by S&W between 1887 and 1940 and was based on the Model 2. Later in the 20th century, the functionality was applied to the J Frame. I once carried the P7M13 as an alternative to my Hi-Power when 9mm was the preferred caliber. It is a fine sidearm and I used in with a custom shoulder holster made by the late great Chic Gaylord.
picked up a m9a1 today & ran it through its paces with no issues... beretta may be discontinuing model soon.
This is a very interesting method of ammo storage? Any rationale behind the medicine bottles? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Both my 610, and 625 Smith's use 'full-moon' clips. Helps keep the cartridges clearly delineated from one another too. I maybe keep 20, or so pre-loaded; and then stored in these large prescription bottles with a dessiccant added. Keeps the ammo, dry and corrosion-resistant. Also, and easy-way to transport to the range in my bag. Just another added-bonus from being in the V. A. Medical system.
Picked this up today. Totally boutique ammo bought for fun and because they kind of look cool in photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
