Posted this in the black rifle thread but realized the last post before that was from last year. Should have checked beforehand. Anyway, here’s my first AR. I know it’s an older model, but I’m on a budget and couldn’t resist the price. Shot it yesterday for the first time and it was dead on at 50 yards standing, unsupported. Taking it to an outdoor range this weekend where I can shoot further. Sig 516 First Gen
So I got these a while back and they are beautifully Machined but a little noisy too. The carrier though is easily attached and I have 2 of these inside the Nightstand Drawer on the far side of the bed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is! Both I suppose, the Magnum Research Baby Eagle are just Jerichos with a little extra text on them, especially of this Vintage. Amazing Weapon too, this one is a Long Slide 9mm I also have the same in 45 but with a Standard Slide!
Thanks,I have coveted that 9mm with the Moon Clips for a long time but have yet to find a decent one to bring home, luckily I am in no hurry too!
I picked this one-up in the mid-80's, when they were first offered in production. It made a nice augment to my Browning Hi-Power. Currently, they are back-in-production according to their catalog. My next Ruger, will probably be a GP-100 Match Champion in 10mm.
I love the GP-100,a buddy has had a few of them and they are great shooters too. I think my next Ruger may just be a Mini-14 or Ranch Rifle of some Variant but it really depends on what pops up next for the right deal. Also shot the M9 yesterday but let the friend I shot with take it home for a few days so no new pics of that one.
The mini's are viable defense [5.56mm] carbines for any number of situations. You can go Mini-Thirty for a larger caliber [7.62x39]. Lots of SKS ammo-makers in the mix. I would like to see Ruger make a pistol-caliber carbine in 10mm. Lately, Ruger has been listening to their customer-base, and have begun meeting the demand for newer items.
I agree and also about the Pistol Caliber Carbines! I have the CX4 Storm that takes the same Mags as the M9 and also the Sub2K for Glock 9mm Mags and I really enjoy both of them. I have sort of modded the Storm to knock down easily and carry it in a 10-22 Takedown case and the Sub2K is Crazy Compact and while not as refined overall as the Storm is still an incredible shooter! a 10mm Carbine from them would be sweet.
I don't mean to interrupt those pretty wheel guns with a Glock, but just got my OLight PL-PRO in for the 19x Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
