There were some on that auction site last week pretty cheap.
    I almost grabbed one myself.

Heart set on a sling bag? No waist/fanny packs or pouches attached to belt?

No! I was with my lady (and dog) and left my phone in the truck. It all happened so fast lol!
Nothing else around the waist. There's no real estate left. I spend most of my time on a jobsite, in my truck, or in the office so this would serve primarily as a carry these specific immediate items to and from bag.

I haven't found anything smaller then the ONETIGRIS EDC Sling / Mini Sling.

Pacsafe Vibe 150 anti theft crossbody pack? Pacsafe Venturesafe 150 GII anti theft crossbody pack? I use a pacsafe wallet. Good quality stuff.

Kelty sling bag and Victorinox lifestyle accessories 4.0 travel sling look too big.

Other option is grab an edc organizer/pouch that fits your size requirements and add a strap to wear on your back.

Have you looked at the Maxpedition Janus? It's just the pouch with the small extension strap but it has lots of mounting options.

No MOLLE but Patagonia do a teeny weeny 6lt sling pack called the atom.

EDIT - snugpak response pak gets a lot of love in the UK.

The Onetigris Mini is looking pretty good. My limiting daily carry item is a 6x8 notebook/planner, so I need a bag that will at most accommodate that. I think it will, but I have no experience with Onetigris' quality. I REEEAAALLLY like the concept of the Hazard 4 Covert Escape but I'm afraid my notebook won't fit.

I've got a pretty sweet Maxped Malaga that I've kinda tricked out as my truck bag that's a bit big for true edc items. The Remora is a downsized version. I like the functionality of the bag, it'll meet my needs but I feel like I'd be buying essentially the same product I have, and at a pretty penny just under $100.

Why not just get the Kaito?
I can easily get my 11" and/or 12" Macbooks in there and an iPad Mini too if I need to and there is a lot of organization but it is not a huge bag either.

Not sure about the Tanto as I only have the bigger brother?
They are more of a Purse than Sling too.

I measured that Tolcat too and it should go there with no trouble and again this is a Sling with a lot of organization that seems smaller to me than what it will hold.

That Notebook may be a deal breaker for a lot of the smaller bags.

I just got back from Gander who is now a hazard 4 dealer. They had the Kato which is nice but too big for the intended purpose.

The tolcat is probably one of my favorite designs. I've got a maxped comparable. Really was the best and most versatile. I've converted it to a tackle bag though. Still bulkier than I'm after. The more I've been thinking today, the more I may just carry the notebook in my hand. I use it frequently enough throughout the day.

I've got a buddy locally who is a sewing guru and has been making some of the nicest tactical gear. I can sit down with him and draw up something exactly to my specs but I'm impatient!!

I may have decided on the maxped agr daily essentials pouch with a hazard 4 launchpad mini strapped to the back for my notebook and a 1" strap I'll make and attach to the d rings.

Despite my best effort to find something else, maxpedition consistently makes gear that suits my needs. I may still order the covert escape just to compare.

I am genuinely fascinated to see if this thing can be ID'd......I mean, with our combined product knowledge, it can surely only be a matter of time, can't it?:D

I may just start hanging out at lowes to increase the chances, though I have complete faith in this group. Some killer suggestions I didn't know about in this thread already.

Can you tell us a little more about its appearance? How does it differ from the OneTigris? Particular features?

It had the typical maxpedition external appearance in terms of the Cordura, standard webbing, and paracord zipper pulls. If the onetigris was cut vertically in half it'd be very similar. I distinctly remember a pronounced side with two columns of webbing because he had a pistol barrel lock attached to it which is what caught my eye initially.

I believe it had a small external zipper pouch, maybe multi tool sized.
