Anyone know of any 3.5 x 5.5 sized monthly calendar that I can use in my field notes sized notebook case? Can't believe no one makes such a thing. A simple 24 pager would be great. One month spread across two pages. That would sell like crazy yet no one makes them.

Have you searched on etsy? There are several folks on there who make inserts for travel notebooks, including Field Notes-sized ones. I'm pretty sure I've seen monthly calendars in that size.

Thanks. I've used those in the past. If I remember correctly they're a lot thicker than field notes. You would think with the popularity of field notes and it's knockoffs that someone would make a calendar of same design and dimensions. I bet field notes would sell a ton if they made them.

The reason I want the same dimension as field notes is that I'm getting a custom made pouch
That holds 3 field notes. I would like one lined for notes. One blank for sketching and the third one a calendar.

It sounds crazy, but make your own. Get the field notes of your choosing, a ruler and make your own! It's engaging. Makes you think about your stuff more. It's yours! And it'll fit that pouch!

    (Pic for layout example purposes)

Thanks. This idea has always been in the back of my mind. Probably the best way to go. I do like your layout design.

There's so much inspiration it'll make you need a second notebook just to keep track of it!!
This is about my 3rd variation from where I started. Trimmed the fat off. I use just what works. And it's not too elaborate that I avoid doing it.
All this talk though, I'm considering laying out my field notes like my journal!

Speaking of 3x5 card holders, I'm about to retire one, has anyone used the one from Gus Style, it's a little pricey to buy without some reviews.

You can print one from a site called pocketmod. The site lets you print a small notebook from one sheet of regular sized paper, cleverly folded up.

I like it.. But I just can't find the time to make a neat and legible calendar that small... I gotta print it.. I tried the printable planners link Moshe ben David provided, but I don't have Microsoft Office anymore and haven't learned Libre office well enough yet.. Anyhow, your calendar looks great.

you can use Open Office; it's also free and virtually identical to MS Word, Excel, etc.

I made the 3x5 calendar... the bubble calendar. My wife thought it was so cote.. it is.. but functional as well.. I just saw one of those 4 color pens we all had as kids.. but it's white black and orange (body) with contoured rubberized grip and... AND a stylus o the top.. It's the bees knees.. Didn't buy it though, 7 bucks..

I have moved passed the Fieldnotes sized world and into a Traveler's notebook. Little bigger but options galore and easier for my EDC needs.

Looks like Field Notes finally acquiesced. Just got an e-mail from them announcing their latest, which includes a calendar. You can see more here.
