Not made for NiMh rechargeables, just Li-ions (but AA/AAA sized Li-ions are 14500/10440). However Cottonpicker has mentioned that, in a pinch, you could string 3 NiMh AAs in series and then use this charger. For safety, the 3 batts should be at an equal state of discharge and you should probably pull the batts once 4.2V is reached.

It's a great charger, not much larger than a battery, and comes with a volt meter (which is a necessity for Li-ions).

reppans another question from the ignorant sidelines, are the 14500/10440 the same size as the AA/AAA and will they work in the same lights safely?

Yes, those are the equivalent sizes. However, your light must be rated for the additional power, and most lights are not. The one's that are will (typically) state in the specs, "0.9 - 4.2 volts."

Also, Li-ions can be dangerous if mishandled, at a minimum, read Silverfox's sticky on Li-ion Safety above.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The only real precaution I take is to charge batteries while I'm home so I can pull them when the charge cycle is over. 10440 and 14500 are great because you get lithium performance in a AAA/AA package. The comporomise between AA and CR123 lights has always been output but with lithium there is no compromise. You can get the AA form factor, readily available alkaline backup, and retina scorching output all in one package.

For me, TK35 is maybe the best all-round flashlight, very well balanced. It has enough throw, enough spill, good quality, regulated output, well thought modes, good runtimes and it's relatively small.

I have both a LD10 and an E05. Both are my EDC lights. I absolutely love them and recommend them for everyone. Since I got them three people I know bought themselves one.
