    Hello all

Can anyone point me in the direction on where I might be able to find a Fellhoelter TiBolt pen?

    And while we're at it..

Mind as well show off your EDC pen and enlighten me on all the cool bad :censored: pens out there.

Boker's bolt action pen is nice too.. Any other bolt action pens out there.

Thank you for any and all of your inputs.

I got mine on eBay a couple of months back, though there don't seem to be any available right now. When they are available on eBay, the prices can vary wildly. I found some of the Triple Aught Design (TAD) editions that seem to be available here for $160-$175 (depending on the color). The plain titanium colored Deluxe edition seems to be available here for $150. Most other places that I looked had them listed but were out of stock. I don't know anything about any of these sites, I just found them through a Google search.

I would also recommend that you take a look at the Maxmadco bolt pens. They come in heavy (stainless steel, brass, copper), lighter (titanium), and extremely light (black anodized aluminum). They're not as big, heavy, or "industrial" as Fellhoelters, but they're really nice. The titanium is especially well weighted & balanced.

Thanks for commenting.. I came across the Maxmadco pens, but sounds like you have first hand experience..

    Thanks.. I'll check those out.

Yes, I do have first-hand experience with the Maxmadcos, I have a black aluminum and a titanium. I like the look of the black aluminum with the silver grip rings, but it's really light - the website says 22 grams! - and my handwriting suffers because of it. The pen feels like it gets away from me when I'm writing. The titanium, on the other hand, weighs 1 ounce, which is perfect for me. The stainless, brass, and copper are 1.75 ounces, and, while I haven't held any one of those three, that sounds too heavy for me.

I purchased a Fellhoelter, but I haven't used it but a handful of times. It's longer than I expected, and has a bigger diameter than I expected. When I put it in my shirt pocket, it feels bulky. I can see why people love them so much, but so far it hasn't been for me.

Do you have any experience with any of the Böker pens by chance?

I got my tibolt also from ebay, brand new in packet paid about $5 over retail so I didn't have to wait for stock anywhere.
Great pens but as mentioned above a little bulky for a shirt pocket, rides fine in a jacket though. I use mine at work from time to time in rotation with other pens, the bolt action is nice and I do find myself just fiddling with the bolt absentmindedly much to the annoyance of my work colleagues :p

I don't have any experience with the Boker pens. They are limited in the refills they can take, and neither of the choices really appeal to me, so I've steered away from the Bokers.

    Hi all.
I would highly recommend Hinderer pens.
Two sizes, but caps , no bolt action.I use the Extreme Duty in brass every day, for years now.
Sometimes there are others in use (Laix, Black Jack),but I always return to the Extreme Duty.
    Kind regards,
    Chris

I do have the kid cal 50 from boker. It is nice short pen. Lost a screw on the clip and it now rides without a clip. Bold action is really good. Bit stiff when new

Also not a fan of caps, and much prefer the bolt action. Im too afraid that I would lose the cap.

I like the Maxmadco in Titanium and it is my EDC. The bolt handle doesn't protrude as much as the TiBolt. The D Caston Rocket has the best recessed bolt handle but I prefer a round pen for the ability to grip it with the clip rotated to be most comfortable. The D Rocket is oval rather than round.

Not my picture. It's called TiNy Bolt, which takes the fisher space pen refill. There is also a copper version of the TiNy bolt.
