I've gravitated to my hultafors knife. About a 4 inch scandi. High carbon. Amazing rubber handle. Sadly i had to micro bevel it because i couldn't do feathers or stuff with a true scandi. I pair it with a customized schf9 that i ground down until there was no recurve anymore and thinned the edge with a belt sander. What are yalls favorite tools for the woods? I have a couple of Moras, great value & hard to fault for the money. In fact they're my only fixed blade knives.
I can't find moras around here. Gave mine away as a birthday gift. Picked up that hultafors that's pretty much a carbon copy Sent from my LG-K373 using Tapatalk
Mora Bushcraft Black and the Mora Robust. I also have the Mora/Light My Fire knife that contains the ferro rod and that makes a nice woods tool as well, but the knife is not as robust as the other two.
I've Really been looking at the skrama bush knife or bk7. I have not decided. Maybe even the bk9 Sent from my LG-K373 using Tapatalk
BK7 is a beast of a knife that I've used for years but now I'm looking to downsize to maybe a ESEE5 or RAT6. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
The BK7 barely fits in my Maxpedition Noatak EDC bag with the other stuff. Can't have open carry here. Good reason to buy another knife Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
I just found the Ontario vulpine and I'm really considering making a new team between my egkh khukri and that knife once i gather funds Sent from my LG-K373 using Tapatalk
I just can't like the shape of the usaf. It just looks horribly awkward Sent from my LG-K373 using Tapatalk
