I've only met a few people that have actually had knives that were sharp to me.
I laugh inwardly when someone scoffs at me when I say 'Careful, it's sharp'.
I love sharp knives! This one literally just passes through items.

    Thanks for the compliments.

I believe it! Carter makes some of the best knives that you never hear about!

I'm really proud of the edge I put on this. I know it's difficult to mess up when you have such a fine piece of cutlery...
But this is honestly the best edge I've put on a knife. It's ridiculously sharp.

Nice Hinderer! I love the stonewashed finish on those. That thing looks like a beast.

Man, this thread makes me wanna break out my Carter and start EDCing it. Pocket folders always seem more discreet than carrying a neck knife, but I've been trying to lighten my pocket load lately, and a knife around the neck seems like a step in the right direction.

Somber, I admire your love for the gear you carry. It seems we have real similar tastes as well.

I love using my Carter every time! It's incredibly satisfying! If I don't want to have it around my neck I simply have it in my back pocket, it works awesome. Plus it's incredibly discreet unsheathing the knife in your pocket and just pulling out the blade, rather than pulling your knife out and flipping it open. It is scary to some seeing a large fixed blade appear out of nowhere, especially where one wasn't just moments ago, but it works - and you can't please everyone.

I have invested a lot of time - and even more money - in the things I carry, thank you for the compliment. I bet we have very similar personalities.

BRKT Necker, hands down. The BRKT handles you can buy are great, but it also works well with a paracord wrap.

I'd have to say either my CS Urban Pal or the Emerson La Griffe, although with the Emerson I'd never carry that thing around my neck :censored:.....even though it's still considered a neck knife.

Hideaway Knives! They are small, lightweight, come in different blade shapes and there's other carry options if you want. My HAK is the only neck knife I've owned that is really comfortable to wear around the neck. Oh, and for the really small neck knives, Graham makes a cool neck razel. I don't own one yet, but checked out a buddies and that thing is killer!

I really like my becker bk11. It is the only "neck knife" that I own but it is one of my favorite fixed blades that I own except for my grandpaws.

    CRKT Bear Claw, everywhere.
It's got a nice comfy handle that most neck knives lack, and the finger hole makes using it and pulling from the sheath so much easier.
