I have to say I love my Falcon II pack, but I don't really like carry my G-23 in the hydration compartment. It is pretty uncomfortable though a great place for it.

Anyone else carry your weapon in a different compartment, and if so how do you carry that firearm?

    Pic?

What's the reasoning for carrying it in a pack in the first place? My thoughts are that if you're of the mindset that you need to carry at all, which it seems you are, why wouldn't you carry in a place more accessible for a fast deployment of the firearm?

mainly for a secondary, looking for alternative means of having it with me. aside from the mainly cons of not carrying on the body, looking to see what other may use to carry a firearm concealed in a bag, i.e. E&E bags etc.

The G-23 is the typical EDC, but there are days where I have to use my Keltec so I want to have the G-23 close by.

The hydration compartment sucks for firearms use, it pokes into your back. I've tossed a spare pistol into one of the compartments, I'll try to put up a photo
