Gandhi Limited Edition Commemorative Pen by Mont Blanc
This one just makes me scratch my head.
Well I think they should have at least made it thinner than the regular pen...too soon?
He was a lawyer.......
We need a rimshot function on this forum. :idiot2:
Clever but I don't think Gandhi would be happy--most of the poor people he devoted his life to
could not afford to buy this pen. They could have at least donated some of the profits to a
cause Gandhi would have approved of.
On the other hand, no one would blink if Mont Blanc did an Eisenhower commemorative pen,
or a Patton commemorative pen.
What's next...a Dalai Lama pen?
That's what happens in a society where everything and everyone is for sale.
I'd be in the market for a Patton pen, I think.
Soon the Che Guevara edition ;D
:iagree: Wot he said!
I don't know about you guys; but when I think about "Gandhi" my next thought is always "limited-edition, luxury writing implements".
Wow...one more reason to dislike Montblanc, in addition to their poor quality control and lousy customer service.
Well, I'm no expert, but the pen itself looks nice. Kudos for them to making a pen for a guy who wouldn't be able to afford it, though. Kudos.
Yeah, but they give you a free loincloth and rice begging bowl WITH the pen.
Boy, some people are just ungrateful....
Personally, I'm waiting for the Maybach Gandhi signature edition.
This has nothing to do with the Ghandi Pen. But I was in a Qwik-e-Mart down in the backwoods of FL and thay had the metal cigarette cases in a display on the counter that had Hannah Montana on them. Hows that for advertising!
What about their watches ? I saw once a Montblanc XXL-sized mechanical watch that looked very cool and was around the equivalent of 35 USD. If I had the money then I would have bought it. Are their watches too of low quality ?
Oh i'm going to hell, that made me laugh out loud ;D
I can be very mistaken but I thought Ghandi was not against wealth
"Wealth without work" I thought he felt you had to work for it was all.
Again I could be mistaken.
It's great to get to laugh out loud that hard once and a while. I'm going to hell anyway.
Well, it should certainly be cheaper as it would only be available in red bakelite.
