Evil Black Rifle Pic Thread........

I decided on the Vortex Spitfire 1x prism sight for my truck rifle. I went with this over a traditional red dot for a few reasons:
- The reticle is really, really fast for target acquisition.
- The reticle is etched into the glass, which means that the sight will still function even without batteries.
- The functional temperature range is extremely wide (-22F to 120F, roughly the same spread as a typical winter and summer in Iowa).
- I have astigmatism, and normal red dot sights always look blurry to me. These sights are extremely clear, even with my astigmatism.
- Vortex has an awesome warranty, and great customer service.

Good choice, I run one on my 9mm and really like it.

 

I can FINALLY post a picture of my first ever Evil Black Rifle. An Adams Arms with a Primary Arms Advanced Red Dot.

Holy cow is this thing an absolute blast to shoot. I can't believe it's taken me so long to buy one.

Loaded it up with Wolf Gold and I was blasting away at 100 yards.

Are those 40-rd mags, reliable?

 

In my picture, those are 30-round PMags and D&H mags.

 

What type of 9mm is this??

Keeping with the non-black rifle theme (sorry), made a few final adjustments to my SCAR. All told, SCAR 17 with a Magpul grip, BlueForceGear multicam Arid pattern Vicker's sling, Atlas bipod, Stryker EACH charging handle, Geissele Super Scar Trigger, and a Vortex Razor HD 1-6 x 24 mounted in a Larue 104...

 

I was using it to make steel sing at 200 and 300 yards that day. I have a Magpul grip, Geiselle trigger,Atlas bipod, Stryker charging handle, Nikon M308, and the KDG ACR stock.

Took a quick pick of the trifecta. My P07, Scorpion, and Bren. I just picked up the Bren last week, and the Form 1 is submitted. I'm getting ready to put muzzle device to attach my SpecWar and I plan on attaching an ACR stock to it once my stamp is approved. In the meantime I will order a Trijicon MRO to sit on top.

 

Back fresh from it's first trip to the range. I know, I need a riser for the RDS.

 

Does anybody have experience with the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Model (5855)?

I'm considering the purchase and looking for feedback. Thanks!
