Well, 16 pounds of fat (hope I never find that again ), a Gen 2 Cold Steel Voyager (medium, clip point, PE. Loved that thing.), a Spyderco Kiwi (which was found by our new puppy after 2 years of being lost), my bullet space pen (several times, then refound right after I bought another one), my Klein TL-29 (found it after I bought a new one), my Fisher military pen was broken by a friend in a moment of sheer stupidity, a Zebra f-301 bold... I could go on.
A couple knives, always found them after a while though. I've lost multiple .45 ACP hollow points after firing them. Never have found one of those.
I once lost a knife that my grandpa had given me on a Boy Scout camping trip and I was heartbroken. Next meeting though, when we were checking tents to make sure people had cleaned them (everyone takes home something to clean from the trip and brings it back the next week) and it was found in one of the tents. Obviously someone didn't clean out the tent very well...
Me too. The list is far too long. Thankfully nothing too expensive. Couple of CRKTs, couple Fisher space pens, the worst was a spyderco endura that somehow found its way out of my ruck on my way home from AFG on leave.
I lost my first swiss army knife on a ferry going to france on holiday. I was about 5, it was all plastic, and I left it somewhere, never to see it again. past that, apart from endless pens and pencils, I've managed to keep hold of all of my EDC items that I can think of.
I seemed to have just lost my HuMn wallet(containing nothing but loyalty cards, I think) and my Chawley Changer.
Well I just lost a Fallkniven U4 Tuesday! One of the most expensive knives I own, and it is so far the only one I have lost. It was well used though, so I got my moneys worth, but still a little upset. Especially because it had one of my favourite TI beads on it!
In 1993 I had a Vic SAK (don't remember the model, but fewer implements than a Champion, more than a Deluxe Tinker) stolen out of a locker, along with my wallet, and a Fisher Space Pen dropped out of my pocket unnoticed while at a movie last year. The movie wasn't even very good. Those were the only two EDC things I ever lost, although once I gave a girl my pocket knife and she lost it (the knife, I mean .)
I've lost 3 items in my whole life and they were all when I was younger. I was given a black Vic Classic and like any other kid I never kept it in one spot. After about 10 trips through my washing machine I finally lost it somewhere. Then I had upgraded and purchased a black SAK (Not sure if Wenger or Vic) but I took care of it and carried it everywhere. I was making rockets back then and was using it to cut the fuse and left it on a bench at the park. We were the only ones there except for this kid I knew. I went back a few min later and he had swiped it and wouldn't give it back. Still angers me to this day. Then, My dad was given an original Leatherman when they first came out. I had it on me and used it to cut something when I was out somewhere and set it down. Forgot to pick it up and that was that. I still wish I had all those things. Good memories
Flashlights and pens constantly ... Plus side i found one of my lights mowing yesterday befor the mower did lol Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
I had a small folding chess set from chessmates. That was pretty messed up when someone broke into my car and stole it.
in the last maybe 10 years or so, only two items. A 3rd gen iTP A3 EOS flashlight in black at a concert some 3-4 years ago and an IMCO Streamline lighter last year, probably fell out of my pocket while getting out of the car. I "lost" items around the house a number of times but I usually find them after a couple of months by the time I stopped looking for them.
I just remember that I used to have two Lillehammer Olympics 94-themed Brusletto fixed blades that have somehow disappeared. I also misplaced my Lumapower EDC LM31 at the cabin this Easter. I knew I had put it somewhere in the cabin, but couldn't find it when it was time to pack up. I guess it is still there, but it is lost to me until the mosquito season is over.
Thought I'd lost my PockettoolX Brewzer and my Spyderco Bug from my keyring/carabiner yesterday. I got home from shopping at ADSA (a Walmart essentially) to realise that they weren't on my carabiner. EEEk Figured I'd dropped them when unlocking my car or something while distracted by a weirdo wanting to talk about my car. I was upset. But they were in my front porch! I'd dropped them in the house! Yay!! I need a more secure carabiner or something now for sure as this is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened!
Wife got hot mad with me. We went to Georgia Aquarium and Coca-Cola Museum walked all the way back to the car before I would let them have my SAK. She didn't want to wait by the door while I ran it back to the car so she got to make the trek too.
Check the couch. I find crap in the couch all of the time. Lost a Zippo one time. Found it couple of years later was helping a friend move it was inside his wingback chair from the living room. We picked it up something clinked, shook the chair a bit clink clink, shook it again it fell out of the bottom onto the floor. He picked it up and said didn't you go to Ft. Lee for Rigger school. Angels sang, trumpets sounded sweetness.
