Just off a whim I purchased an Izula.
LOVE IT!!!!. Great small fixed blade knife.
After checking out some other models on their site I ran across the Folder version which hasnt been presented to the masses yet.
Im looking forward to buying one just to see if they can build the ESEE quality into a folder.
Looks like a winner so far...right handed, tip up carry...

    Anybody else considering it?

I will definitely buy one when they are released. Love my Izula and can't wait for a folding version.

Cannot say enough good things about Esee knives. I have a Esee 4 and and Izula, love them both to pieces. The folder, like most Esee fans I'm hanging out for it. Will it ever surface............hmmmmmmmm?

    Yeah, exactly.

I wish they would get off their butts and make it already. I have a feeling it would be a fantastic EDC

I'm actually carrying my standard Gray Izula right now on my belt. I'd carry a well made Izula folder very happily!

I have the ESEE 6 and 4 fixed blade and recently purchased a couple of the RAT folders manufactured by Ontario Knife Co. They are terrific folders especially considering the cost of around $30.

I had the pleasure of meeting ESEE's Mike Perrin at the recent Blade show in Atlanta. Great guy and was totally cool about it when I asked if he was Jeff Randall. oops..

I'm wondering if there will be any changes to the design before it hits the market. I can't wait to see the final product!

I read a bunch of great stuff about ESEE knives and have almost pulled the trigger I just don't care for fixed blade carry.
I would definitely be interested in a folder.

As I look it over, Im kinda wishing it will be a Liner Lock instead of a Framelock....but beggers cant be choosers....

Id love to have those scales on both sides of the handle.

Maybe they will include that in Ver 2.0.

I know, I used to think that very same thing. Just seemed wierd to have a bare frame/handle on one side and a scale on the other.

Then along came the 0561, tan/brown G-10 on one side, bare Ti on the other. In the hand, I can't tell, and the look is growing on me more as time goes.

Give it a chance, might grow on you too. :)

I've always liked that look. Maybe I'm weird.
