I know we have to have some EMT's/Paramedics or even RN's on this site. So like the title says whats in your pockets while out on the ambulance or in the hospital?
My essentials: Pilot G2 #10in my uniform shirt Leatherman Raptor Shears in their holster at the 5:00 Spare pair of gloves in a pocket. Pocket Knife in knife pocket on my 5.11 Taclite Pro's Other than that, everything else stays in the truck or the jump kit.
I usually use the one on my iPhone. I've got a microstream I never remember to put in my pocket but my partner carries a Stylus Pro. She's got the shears too from when I got them for her for her birthday so if I forget mine, she's got my back haha.

Leatherman Raptors Shears Victorinox deluxe tinker Fenix e01 Zebra 402 or 701 all steel pen G-shock watch Littman cardiology II stethoscope And I have a Swiss army bag that I keep snacks and some get home items in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wow, that was weird. I wrote a post asking Chiles for an opinion of the Raptor but the text went away and I can't seem to edit the post.
Hey, it got my attention! Anyway, it hurts when you first buy it but once you use it ONCE, it pays itself off. I've cut through thick jackets, multiple clothes layers, straps, seat belts, different leather clothing, shoes, you name it. They are an absolute monster and will not fail you. I got so tired of the garbage shears we used to buy at the company I work at. They wouldn't work well even brand new out of the box and these work like a charm.
Thanks! I've been pretty happy with the shears I've got, which have the virtue of being tremendously less expensive. I'm not any sort of medical pro so I'll have to wait to find the Raptor shears on sale before I pick up a pair.
Yeah it was definitely a gamble because I didn't know how they'd be, but they have served me well. My partner used her's yesterday, actually.
Not working the box much as I made Chief last year but in addition to the normal EDC stuff (2x Embassy Pens,SF Fury,Spyderco Gayle Bradley) on my redio strap is a Benchmade 7 Hook and a regular pair of shears.

The Microstream slips behind one of the outer elastic retention straps) - Radio with lapel mic in a 5.11 radio case - Streamlight ProTac 2aa in cargo pocket (wrapped the outside with self-adhering repair tape, makes it grippier) - Whatever folder I'm carrying (PM2 or ZT0566 usually) - IPhone 5 in magpul case carried in 5.11 phone pouch - Shellback Tactical Cobra Belt - few pairs of gloves in cargo pocket - Parker Jotter pen
