    Emerson Combat Karambit.

I am a fan. In my opinion Emerson knives are more rough and utilitarian than the ZT's, which are equally durable; maybe more so, but also more refined.

I own the Emerson Mini-Commander and the Mini-Cqc-7 plain blades. I find the steel is the best balance in achieving a sharp and hard edge. The wave is a great innovation but the screws to adjust the opening friction and that thumb "screw" makes it the easiest one hand opener. The MiniCommander is my EDC.

The Wave is brilliant, but I also find the models without to be that much more intriguing. Being discrete is key for me more often than not, so that Wave feature is not always applicable. Love a successful wave and pop, though. Extremely satisfying ha

Hard pressed to choose my favorite 7, but this one is so clean w/out the wave

I have the Emerson Horseman and i love this knife. I don't often take it to work because i'm not ready to jack it up yet..but it is carried outside of work almost every day. Emerson and its wave feature are both a big win for me. I'd say go for it and get one.

DpX HEST is another option that has the wave feature and a glass breaker, bit driver, bottle opener and wire stripper. I've had mine for a few years now and it's still one of my all time favs.

you could get one of the kershaw emerson colab knives coming out later this month. Its a lower cost knife with the wave feature and they look really nice
