Haha, when EDCF whent down, I googled to see if I was the only one and saw a few concerned people chatting about it on CPF.

My question to all you guys who visit EDCF daily is, what were you guys doing instead? Had your EDC habits (or habits in general) changed because of it for any reason?

As for me, I wanted to reference EDCF many times while it was down, and most recently today with the whole Tsunami warnings for Hawaii. I realized that my EDC was sufficient to though anything the day could possibly throw at me. Even more so, I created my first BOB in case I needed to haul myself out of my location if things started getting bad. During all of that time I had wish EDCF was up and running.

In work I got more done. At home I did some tinkering in the basement.

Waiting for hawaii to get hit with a tsunami, which did not happen when they said it would (I CHARGE THIS TSUNAMI WITH FRAUD, BOOK EM DANNO)

I was violently shuttering and breaking into cold sweats from EDCforums withdrawal :(

Sitting in a corner curled up in a ball, sobbing mumbling to myself about wanting the forum to come back while constantly reloading hoping it would show. :D Or....working...
You know, you hear a Tsunami is coming over so you get everything cleaned up, get snacks put out and get drinks on ice but what happens? The Tsunami shows up late for it's own party! Those things just have no respect for a time table :D

Fixed the warp drive, picked up 12 new languages, PROPERLY deciphered the Necronomicon, cured cancer, trisected an angle with just a protractor and comp, orchestrated permanent peace in the middle east and last but not least, calculated pi out to it's ultimate last value.
Man I can't believe how much I can do when not wasting time hanging out at this forum with all you sods! LOL

I was clicking refresh! In reality I spent a bit less time on the computer. There are several other forums that I visit but I seem to be able to read endlessly on EDC forums. So I visited some that I dont regularly visit and then just spent a little less time online when I didn't have EDC forums to read.

Dude, we wanted to know what you did SPECIFICALLY during the forum downtime, not what a normal Friday evening looks like.

On a more serious note, the forum's absence made me realize how entertaining it is, and how much I enjoy it. Thus I bought me a +2 support today.

Krustofski you should see what I do during the day. The evenings are for FUN! Regardless of what day of the week it is. Oh by the way when the crew gathers and lubrication (liquor) is liberally applied we solve the problem of World Hunger EVERY TIME! The problem is no one remembers the solution the next day. So sad.
Plus 1 on the +2 support.

I actually spent a lot less time on my computer. I used to spend on average 4 hours on the computer (note: I have no life) and calculated that my new average was 3 hours and 55 minutes! =D New accomplishment!!!
But seriously, I did what I usually do, study, play CODMW2, use the computer, etc, like any other student.

Been watching and waiting for Canada to beat the U.S. in Hockey, now that both the Women AND Men have done so I can go back to coveting gadgets and shinies.

I Googled EDC stuff and read the cached pages. Pretty sad...
