^ Nice! So you went with the Varsities afterall? How do you like it so far? I like them; they're exceptionally smooth for the price. I wish they came thinner like the V-Pens in Japan, though.
I like them, much better than the craft store pens. Not REAL smooth, but the flow is even. They are a medium point. I have 2 Heros on order (VF, iridium nib) that I will be loading up for my work pens.
I found that the Varsities have a smaller "sweet spot" than the new Bic ones (modeled just about the same). Which models of Heros do you have? I used to use the 616s a lot, but I got tired of using that sort of filling mechanism. I like to stick to cartridge, piston, or eyedropper.
"New Hero 3015A Super-smooth Ultra-fine Iridium Fountain Pen Red" and one in black. It looks like some kind of piston filler. I am putting Cherokee Red in that one and Ebony Green in the black one. (Sorry, no purple for me, I didn't see one I liked.)

First time posting on EDCF. Here's my pen/pencil collection. I can't decide which ones are my favorite so I rotate them day to day.
I noticed that your Dixon pencil has a pocket clip. Could you provide some details about it? Also, has anyone ever used the Lamy Logo pen? If so how does the ink compare to Fisher Space pen's ink?
I am geek, over the top pencil collector. Premier Jr. clip. Much easier to find Atwoods. Pencils and things or pencils .com has something simliar..
I got a new Sharpie stainless pen as a gift today. Here is what I carry with me for school. Parker pen -- had it for 8 yrs Sharpie stainless pen Pentel P205 Staedtler 925 03
I used to have a Lamy Logo. I don't believe it was a pressurized cartridge, but it was very smooth writing.... a tad smoother than than the Fisher Bullet. For clarification, it felt smoother because there was less drag, with the viscosity of the ink sitting somewhere between the more viscous Fisher ink and a more fluid gel ink. ATB, Sam
