I use a black XTS Ti Pen from Kickstarter for my EDC.

It isn't as versatile as its longer brother (30 refill types!), but the size is pretty handy, and [both] come(s) with an optional stylus nib. So stylus, pen, titanium - what's not to love?

I also backed the Prometheus Alpha Pen, and since the Skinth I ordered now can accommodate a standard sized pen, I just might use that instead :)

Not sure about styluses (styli?) on expensive pens. I get thru styluseseseas every few months.. Do expensive ones last indefinitely?

I totally get what you're saying, but this concern is only valid if the stylus tip is permanently fixed to the pen - which it isn't.

If you're a purist, then you just leave the default end cap/screw on (they even sell spares of those). If you feel like having a stylus then swap it out easy ;) If you change your mind from one to the other preference no worries.

They sell packs of stylus nibs on their site. So if yours wear out, you just buy spares. In the unlikely event that you are no longer able to buy spares, then you can always revert the pen back to its original, no-stylus state.

I like it. Fun to play with. Used it a while ago to break some ice cubes from a bag of ice for a party. That was fun. I want to see if the ink fits in my other pens. I like how they write.

I bought an X-mark last week and the clip is really good and sturdy. My problem with it is that the pen easily slips out of the cap so the pen falls into the bowels of my pocket. I requested a replacement from Amazon yesterday so hopefully this one is just defective (it came with a slit in the o-ring)

I'll ask the question that I asked on my thread, does anyone have any ideas about the refill for this?

Is it maybe a d1 refill? They are fairly common in multipens, and can be found on JetPens.com. It looks like you'd just swap that black cap onto a d1 refill and be good to go. Might want to use some google-fu to see if you can find the exact measurements of a d1, but if it works, there are plenty of decent ballpoint/gel refill options.

Nothing fancy here...Stainless Steel Sharpie...I like a good pen but I would freak out if I lost a $9,000 pen...so the Sharpie fits the bill...

Depends... I love my VP, but with its price, I usually avoid taking it to work. I really like the huge ink capacity of the vac700, and its been my go to fountain pen at work when I'm not doing multi part forms. Retro51 and the render k get used for making carbon copies, as well as other bits and pieces here and there. The investigator is kinda my "write anything on anything" pen since it has the fisher inside. I'm a pen nerd. I usually have 3-4 on me at any given time, plus a crappy "loaner" to hand out.
