I have not handled one, but it seems odd that it would feel fatter since it has less internal capacity. I've been pretty fickle when it comes to pens. Like many on this forum, I have a zillion of 'em, but the Ti TT 1st gen remains my go-to pen.

Luckily I'm not too picky with pens.
As long as it has decent amount of refills to choose from and isn't too heavy.

The pen fits perfect in my chef coat.

Lately, I´ve started using these unmarked Chinese hommages of the Montblanc Boheme ballpoint.
While the clip seems somewhat weak, they are all metal with a twist top mechanism.
They are 2 or 3 dollars each and take all G2 refills.

Hey, I have the Alpha Ti Pen from them in love it. But the Tibolt G2 or Regular are my go to pens for work as they are just easier with the bolt. Where can I find ANY info on this pen you speak of?

There is none, but I did speak to him about it and he said it is in the works.

Yikes, late reply! Ya know, I thought I might like that Giro more, yet the taper angle to the front tip feels quicker/sharper to get to a smaller diameter than I prefer. So you (erm, I) either grip the writing instrument around the same distance away from the ink refill tip, and it's thinner than desired and the writing instrument balance is back heavy with less barrel to grip, or the pen's held further up the barrel (towards the clip), and the balance is better, yet the feeling is that there's less control as the fingers are further away from the writing end.

& the twist mechanism isn't as sure/secure as the spring-loaded version in the Wingback Black Steel pen. With the Wingback pen, you twist the end and it "snaps" into the extended and retracted positions well, while the Giro twist is more of an action to move the pen point in or out, without well-defined endpoints. I really wanted to like the Giro more, however, I think the design and functionality of the Wingback pen is executed more cleanly.

Just my $.02, which won't even get ya an ounce of unleaded gasoline (depending on where ya be...). :D

Now, a new variant (for last month's blue moon):

Pen balance and grip feel are 2 of the 3 make or break items to me. I can deal with bad ergonomics if I'm initialing a receipt, but for extended writing one must have a pen that fits them and their writing style.

There is absolutely no information on it. It was on a Facebook thread, I messaged him about a bolt pen and he said it was in the works, thats it.
