Some ks writing instruments, with some details in common...

The recently-delivered Mark One from Studio Neat, and a black Fri deal on the X-01 Ti from Namisu (< the ks pledge level), or the j.mp/Clipless1s :D

    Hey @YankeeHotelFoxtrot -

Ya might get some more info if you click on the pic (though that may depend on if you're browsing from a desktop/laptop or a mobile device...), yet this is a new offering from The James Brand, and they call it the Benton. First learned of it from GearPatrol last month - https://gearpatrol.com/2018/11/27/the-james-brand-benton-pen/ - and then GP did a collab with them soon after.

ETA a revision due to missing a detail on the coding, and only noticin' it now...

The notebook cover on the left, from a couple of weeks ago, care of Nero's Notes (https://www.nerosnotes.co.uk/) here in the UK, my go-to notebook supplier. This one's a limited edition, and has space for three books. I only stuffed two in there ;)

The new kid on the block for me is my first Kaweco pen, an AL Sport in copper, no less :bounce: This will replace my current Platinum Preppy, which, while a nice enough pen, is somehow not very satisfying. THIS Kaweco pen, however, even before I began to write with it, had me feeling good - for a pen to do that, well, it must be a bit on the special side!

Pity about the ink colour, but black seems to be in short supply. I'll try other sources for that in the interim (Amazon, etc), but I have enough Royal Blue for a while, anyway, so it's not an urgent matter, merely mildly irritating (I prefer black ink).

Anyhow, next up, a clip for the pen :)

Also - a quick follow-up. How on Earth do you pronounce it - is it KAh-WEY-Co, Kah-VEY-Ko, Car-vey-cow, or some other way?

Yet another update to the above. Apparently, it's not copper (dammit). It's a colour called "rose gold". Still looks like pale copper to me, anyhow *sniff*

Finally received my Bastion pen in the mail today! Was a tough two week wait for it to ship to me in Australia, all of the good stuff I see on these forums is always from USA which makes everything harder to purchase :/
The quality is amazing though,I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend anyone considering purchasing one.

I always have these two with me. I throw a few others into the mix when I am working but those stay with my body armor/ external carrier. [IMG]

This is my at work pen. I still have the other two previously pictured with me but this Surefire pen is my go to while working.

I’ve been carrying the hinderer investigator in brass for about a year now. It replaced a fisher space pen bullet after I lost 2 of them, and I love this pen!
I even took the edge off the back end using a table grinder, after it stabbed into my leg one day.

I think he was making a Pink Floyd reference (Shine on You Crazy Diamond). I personally am not a PF fan. We were supposed to see them on an underbill for Grand Funk Railroad at Fair Park Music Hall in Dallas circa 1969...before anybody had really heard of them. They didn't show (their equipment got stolen was the excuse given), so instead we watched a set from Bloodrock (of D.O.A. fame at the time). I was fine with that at the time and even more glad in retrospect....:)

Nothing fancy I just found it at HEB and thought it was a cool way to get extra tools in my bag. It's got a flat head, Phillips, stylus, inch and metric ruler as well as a level. Not bad for $5[IMG][IMG]
