Yup, it will never pass for the real deal as the quality is truly atrocious and enough design features differ from the fellhoelter but it's another case of the Chinese doing what they do best...

I knew I had the pencil and I need to get .09 leads for it I think.
The pen was hiding. It is non working but good looking.

Both have: Pat. Sep. 5 16 on the clip.

@PBJS II: think you mean 0.9 mm leads. Easy to get.

    Beautiful vintage set!

    Not EDC in the least.
Two Esterbrook lever fillers. One Fineline lever filler.
    And a steampunk looking Speedball.
I think the Speedball can be used dip style.

I imagine the sacks in the other three are toast.

The green one only has "Iridium tip Germany" on it.
The black and silver one is Penatia.

Both write. My writing is atrocious.

Todays carry. TUL 0.5 pencil. Retrakt.
Inc R2 Precision 0.5 gel Rollerball.
Inc Rollerball pens write extremely well for only costing about 58 cents each.

Another nice G2 sized refill is a Wexford medium point Retractable gel pen.

The Zebra Sarasa in any color besides black is pretty nice.
But these China made Wexfords as well as the gel stuff at the dollar store write nice Black lines. The Zebra is more grey.

Even the Inc R2 .5 I got today makes a better blacker line than the Zebra

Power Tanks were pretty good but the pocket clip broke off of all three I had.

A .7mm lead sticking out where I'm almost certain 1.1 should be.
A piece of .5 keeps it in the mechanism

I've seen a lot of people say that. Hasn't happened to me yet, hopefully it won't. The clip is the one part of the pen they skimped on Imo. Should be sturdier.

I use my minimo to stroke a checkstand check, or fill out a bank ticket often. Its best application IMO....a quick task, not for lengthy dissertations. I find it perfect for that EDC and like it very much.
The cashier at Best Buy was drooling over it just this past Friday as I wrote a check for my new tripod with it.

I've recently fallen in love with the Pilot G2 1.0mm refill as it lays down a very dark and very thick line that satisfies my fountain pen tendencies. As such I've ordered a Tactile Turn Slider in titanium and in the interim I was able to modify my Retro 51 Hex-O-Matic to take a G2 refill.

I filed down the tip so the refill was able to extend far enough, then hit it with 1000 grit and 2000 grit sandpaper to smooth it out. The refill must be cut down on the back which is super easy; just a little into the grease behind the ink and replace the cap. That was good enough to work but to make it perfect I had to wrap a tiny piece of tape around the tip of the refill so it filled the pen tip and didn't wiggle around. It's perfect now!

I ordered the Slider over the Glider as it's 0.5" shorter and can accept cut-down Pilot G2 refills. Most metal pens that accept the G2 refills are too :censored: long for my liking; this will be the best of both worlds!
