I like it! Its well balanced and feels solid. The clip feels sort of fragile but there hasnt been any issue so far. Btw I really enjoy the Itoya gel refills and would recommend gel fans try them out.
Here is my EDC pen. It is a Sharpie Mini that i gutted and inserted a trimmed down insert from a cheap Bic pen. It isn't fancy, but it was cheap, and it fits in the side elastic strap of my leatherman surge sheath.
This is in response to oke's post above (quote didn't work?). I know I've seen this pen before, but can you remind me the brand/model?
Yep! (click around that post... ) It's the Stainless Steel Field Pen from Machine Era. I asked, and apparently, it's a production run of 100 and when they're out, they're done. With the machined clip as the custom mechanism to extend the refill, and the side button to retract the refill (although it sometimes takes a bit to get the protrusion back in), it looked like a form factor I could get used to using as my daily driver...
Thanks EricV for helpin'... And in case anyone wants to see the Field Pen in action, a brief demo's there.
Just got into customisable multi-pens, where you can decide which types of pen or pencil to fill it with. At the moment I am using a Uniball Style Fit 3, like this: http://www.jetpens.com/Uni-Style-Fit-3-Color-Multi-Pen-Body-Component-Metallic-Blue/pd/4474 I am enjoying it so far, currently loaded with the mechanical pencil, 0.5mm black ball point and 0.5mm mandarin orange gel pens.
Is this design before or after the Fisher AG-7 Astronaut pen? No issue raised; just curious. Moshe ben David
