That /\ resembles my Retrakt pen and lot! Same maker?
Yep, that's a Bolt pen from Karas Kustoms - the same people who make the Retrakt.
The good old Zebra F-402!
Kara's Kustom Pen and a neat little notebook.
Would you please share how you got the Itoya refill into your Zebra?
It's pretty simple. Take the black end piece off the Zebra refill and save that, the rest of the refill isn't needed. Remove the black end piece off the Itoya and toss that out, put the Zebra end piece in it's place. I doesn't stick in place just kind of sits there. Slide that into the body. Then look into the tip of the pen, some of them have a small plastic piece in there. Remove that and add a spring, I find the standard Zebra one is too long. I use a spare had from another pen that uses the standard Parker style refill. I've done a few of the mods to take the Fisher Space Pen refill and found that there are some, like 1 in 10, of the tips that hole is too small. If you run into that you'll need a #39 or #40 drill bit. Hope that helps. If you need anymore info. just PM me.
Hinderer Extreme Duty in brass, as usual:
Montblanc Starwalker Midnight Black
EDC setup from a few weeks back. But the Mont Blanc Starwalker Extreme stays thanks to that silky smooth fineliner.
What pen is this?
SureFire Pen III (EWP-03-TN)
It's a great pen, I can highly recommend it.
Here it is with some other EDC writing instruments:
Wow, that Surefire pen is a big sucker. I've been looking at them for awhile and contemplating getting one, but I swear I thought it was about the size of a Jotter. Next to the Jotter I realize that the Surefire is actually HUGE. It's longer and bigger around than even the brass bolt pen on the far left, and those are big pens to me. I'm kinda glad now that I've never pulled the trigger on one of the Surefires, because I would have been disappointed in the big size of it.
It doesn't feel huge at all. And it's a pen actually made for writing and it performs great. Size and weight are perfect for my taste. A very comfortable writing instrument.
