Off the top of my head, one has a magnetic cap, the X1 is screw-on. X1 might be waterproof, the cap has an o-ring, but the back just has a brass screw.
My two EDC pens, my modded to take Pentel Energel refills Maxmadco Ti and my PicoPen Ti. Love them both!
And I switch out between other pens and lead holders I've made when I'm out and about... Cactus and resin on the top, and Flame Boxelder Burl on the bottom. And my favorite pen so far...It's a bolt action rollerball with a stabilized cow poop body!!
my choice of pen has changed a great deal over the last few years, i was always a biro user, more specifically bic multi colour, it was always my pen of choice and i used to carry this pen case in my bag. yes thats a giant bic multi colour, filled with bic multi colours, one of each in the range. i love these pens still. then i started using the sharpie disposable writers, i love these to, they right so well untill some one else uses one and pushes the tip right back in to the body! being ocd i had to have the compleate set of colours before i changed over to them. ( and the stainless as well ) then after reading this thread, i got back in to using a proper fountain pen, a parker vector, posted pics before as it was a limited edition batman parker i had. that really got me in to fountain pens, so i got myself a lamy safari, ( piano black, medium silver nib ) i liked it but it just didnt feel "just right" . soi took another look at there website, then i saw the left handed nib option! i ordered one, matt black, black nib, black clip. it arrived and wow! i had never wrote with such a good pen! no catching, so scratching! just smooth flowing writing. i use lamy cartridges at the moment, purple in the piano black, and black in the matt. but i fast getting in to ink as well. and so i thought i was finished. but no, you people had to keep on posting your pictures. and then i saw it, the finest pen i had ever seen! i mean of corse the kaweco sport. i couldnt resist for long till i ordered one, it arrived just after christmas, and i love it, it is such quality, i had the set with the tin and the clip, the embossed tin is a perfect home for it, and it feels so right in my hand. i love the black and gold colouring, i nearly went for the black and silver my normal colour combo, but i am glad i did'nt. and it gets noticed every time i use it, so now just need to get a converter and i can find my ink.
Elathan - fun to hear how your writing tastes have changed! And I was curious about the parker, and finally found the post. So it's only been in the past few months that you've changed your edc? Wild. Separately, here's another Ascari, along with one from the Cross C-series:
so got some new pens. My Zebra Completely Stainless steel DDR Skull Pen Trueutility Micro Pen No Clips on any of them. (Zebra is smooth all around lol.
so I picked up a Zepra Sharpie pen. Was talking to someone on facebook about the flashlight and took a comparison picture. SS Sharpie Pen, Zebra 701 w/704 Tailcap and no clip.
Hey, guys relatively new to pens and pencils, so rate my collection (I have one more Koh i noor pencil but I removed the paint and didn't pictured). Also not including my Uzi 6 tactical pen. Darn I missed one 'L' on the last one... SAM_0882 by ihatebottleopeners, on Flickr
