I'm a student so I always have a few pens and pencils with me. The first is the Pentel Clarius, which is pretty comfortable and is very legible with my handwriting, even when I'm taking rapid fire notes during a lecture. The grip isn't all that great, I would prefer a knurled metal/checkered plastic one that was closer to the tip. Did I mention it was dirt cheap? The second is the twist erase. Pretty common. The grip is very poor and I don't like it too much as my handwriting is pretty bad with this, but It's good for bubble tests and shading. It's my backup to the Clarius. G2, with Mont Blanc insert. I don't like the insert as much as I do the normal ink. It runs out too fast, and will only last me a few thousand words, basically a week. Otherwise it's nice. I used to use this a lot, but the Clarius has taken priority The last is a Uniball Micro. Does what it's supposed to do, and is reliable. Nothing more that's special though. Nothing expensive or really nice, but hell, I can't afford much and I always run a decent chance of loosing it.
i had a black spacepen that got damaged while i was in iraq. upon requesting two new ones from the website, the company sent me two green ones with my name etched on em for free. very cool.
Monte Blanc. Took this picture last year, won 1st place in a contest. Sorry the focus is on the watch. Lensbaby Watch by D Julian, on Flickr
Here are my Parker pens. It's that classic feel for me, not the "can write while hanging upside down in the rain and being on fire"-feeling that was important in choosing the Parker Jotter. I don't hang upside down in rain much while writing, and if I where I think I could be hard pressed to figure out something clever to write...
Here's what I've been carrying lately. Got the Ti Embassy pen from County Comm a couple weeks ago. Just flame colored it this past weekend.
