This thread hasn't gotten much action lately so I thought I would post up a recent modification to my FJ Cruiser. Let's see if it spawns a bit more activity here.

Installed a Springtail Solutions Cargo & Pet Barrier

Thank you. And still going strong, now if I had the money to do some maintenance on it.

My EDC vehicle at the moment, handbuilt frame from a friend of mine, Patrik Tegnér, with custom low-riders and front rack, built by and other friend, Veloform. Got Gilles Berthoud front bag and panniers(not on the picture), Campa gears, Schmidt hub-dynamo for the front wheel and Chris King R45 hub for the rear wheel, Grand Bois tyres, Gilles Berthoud sadle, Nitto stem, handlebars and bottle cage...and on and on. Rides like a dream, gonna put some miles behind me this summer!

Here's my baby, Miranda. I've got a pretty OK bit of gear stored in it. I can upload pics if y'all want some time tomorrow because a little mod work has made my gear totally unnoticeable.

I have a SUV, but I am saving for either rubicon, 4runner trail, tacoma offroad, or fj cruiser.

First addition was an extra battery to help power all the toys. The diesel 3/4 and up ton come with two stock, I just have to buy the tray and mount it. This is just a test fit with a battery I had in the garage
    [IMG]

Fuse/replay block to distribute the power
    [IMG]
During the install so a little messy.

New radio which only takes half of the double din spot to allow room for the CB
    [IMG]

    Fender mount antenna
    [IMG]

replaced factory spare with matching wheel and then 5 tires so I could do 5 tire rotation.

Rancho 9000's for the adjustability between city and farm.
