Hey guys. I normally EDC a spyderco half ti/half Cf military in s90v and a Victorinox mini champ. I'm ok with losing the pen as I have a few, but I'd like a nice pair of Tweezers comparable or better than the VIC ones.

I carry a pair of tweezers in my wallet. They are just some pair I got at wal mart years ago that actually close and grab good.

Uncle Bill's sliver grippers are fantastic. I've had mine at least 15 years. They've been riding on my keys since then and I've used them numerous times.

I've often thought about investing in some Uncle Bill's, having heard about their glowing reputation on this forum and others, but recent UK "Forest" reviews would indicate that the quality seems to have fallen off a bit in recent years.

Any comments from anyone that has bought recently? We are keen users of all the SAK scale tools in this family, to the point where I always have my Rambler if I'm going alox. I keep the "spare" toothpick from my MiniChamp (as I elected to keep the tweezers in it along with the pen) in my wallet, so I always have one of those with me, but I have no alternative to EDC tweezers. If I had something on my keyring I could forego the Rambler on an alox day :)

I bought a second titanium pair from County Comm. They're every bit as good. My first pair is probably older than 15 years. I bought them through the now defunct Brigade Quartermaster mail order catalog (they actually have "Brigade Quartermaster" engraved on them)

Not sure what is meant by 'recent years'. I've had several pairs of Uncle Bill's now for about 2 years. One in each FAK; one in my actual edc bag. They all seem good to go for me!

Yes! I still have those too! I didn't realize that Brigade Quartermaster was no more. [IMG]

If you email the silver gripper company, they still sell the titanium ones. Is there any chance they'll fall out the holder?

Never happened to me...looks like it, it won't.
They have one in a plastic vial too, key ring is better. :)

I found my tweezers at the bottom of my pocket a few times. So I now use two o-rings to keep the tweezers from coming loose. I use #6 and #11 o-rings. I squeeze the #11 in between the arms of the tweezer then I slide the #6 over one arm and the #11 ring. What this does is makes it impossible to pinch the arms together so the tweezers can't be removed from the holder. To remove them I poke in the gap and slide the large ring to the side so the arms can be compressed.

Yes, it is! They're another awesome key sized tool.
