A few first aid items, aka band aids is a good idea.
Here's a shot of my small pocket organizer by @hanksbyhank on IG

How does one go about ordering hanks by hank? I cant even get the facebook page to load up and browse the offerings properly.
I would hit his Instagram page. I also just got a batch of hanks in from @randdhandkerchiefs on IG and they're amazing and very affordable (3 for $25).
Here is a specialized use I came up with. I have a edc carry bag in my car with the good stuff in it, but I wanted something more portable that I could just grab and go with if I was riding with the wife or a buddy. Or toss in an overnight bag, etc. Still a work in progress, need to add some stuff to the mini FAK and put a few zip ties and the like in there. Not trying to make a full toolkit but some basics are always good.
Maxped fatty in khaki.
Fisher space pen, tucked in the maxped label
511 aaax2 led light
Spare aaas for the light
Small targus memory card holder used as a backup fak in the left side pocket (not shown)
Keltec PF9 in the zip pocket on the right. I like that some of the grip sticks out as it makes it east to retrieve the gun. I have a belt clip to go on the gun too, so I can "Mexican" carry it if needed.
Mini bic lighter with a hairband wrapped as a lighter safety
Spare ammo in a Ziploc bag
Byrd meadowlark 2 folding knife
Niteize doohickey as a zipper pull (not the best OPMT but it can be used as a small prybar)
Interesting concept with the pistol. I've never really thought about it. Not quick access though.
I like the pen in the Label, not sure I have seen that one before!
Yeah not very quick for access. I could figure up some sort of exterior holster and attach via molle. I was, going for a more covert look. I have seen the new chubby with loop inside and holster setup. Might be a better idea for access but I never plan to hang this pouch off my belt.
I actually got the pen idea from this forum, pretty sure it was in the edc pouch thread. I looked at all of the pics in both parts, lots of great ideas!
Heres a few pics of the Targus memory card holder I am using as a small FAK. Not very thick or heavy and seems to be made well enough. Currently just has a few bandaids and a single edge razor blade. I need to find a local source for small alcohol/cleaning wipes and single use triple antibiotic ointment.
Check out CVS. You have to buy a lot, but I know they at least have a box of the individual alcohol wipes. I believe they have the triple antibiotic ointment as well, but I can't remember.
The other thought would be to cannibalize one of those Johnson and Johnson first aid kits if you only need one or two. They are typically pretty cheap at any pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart).
Good info, Thanks. I will give cvs a try on the way home. I had thought about going through the cheaper pre fab FAKs and seeing if I could use all the individual components without wasting anything.
Not sure if this is in the right place... It is a condor T&T pouch that I have setup as a toolkit. It rides in my trunk bag most of the time (large lapg bailout bag) or in my condor tactical briefcase.
Buck 160 fixed bade, only there cause it fits in the webbing. I added a small piece of sticky back hook to the plastic sheath to keep it in place.

What this the light wand in the lower right corner near the ear buds???
