Yes, I made it from cordura.

    Here is the back. [IMG]
It has kind of molle bindings. But I use it for pencils, so I dont have to open the organizer just to get a pencil.

And this is the front side: [IMG]

    Looks good!
Where did you get your materials from?
Just got done with my own little modified pack project.
When I get some time I'll add pics of mine.

Very impressive. I've made a few minor modifications to my store bought bag but it never occurred to me to make it myself.

Although the photo is small, I like how it appears that the holders on the left side have two different straps, one above the other. Are both elastic or just one?

I also like how the right side has an top and a bottom pen holding section. That makes great sense and I wish mine had that.

The straps on the left side are doubled. The broader strap in the back is stiched in the middle. So you can use it for multitools or the like. The smaller strap on top is sewed on the broader strap to have more loops for pens.
The right side has no elastic straps. I would prefer the elastic straps on the right side as well, next time.

Wow, their cordura prices are crazy. Shocking. Da muss man ja mit dem Kopf schütteln.

Just realised my load has changed quite a bit since taking this shot, but you get the idea.

Recently got a Maxped EDC. I carry one of my messenger bags or my laptop bag every day. The trouble is, I often switch them depending on how much papers and books I need that day. And often some stuff I needed got left in a bag from the day before. Now I only shift the organiser from bag to bag. The pens are just backup, in case I forget/mislay my pen pouch with Parker Vector rollerball (very smooth) and Parker Classic Mech. Pencil, and 2-3 other pens which I've used every single day for the last 5-6 Years. Other Items get used often.

    Left side:

    Notebook (back pocket)
    LM Skeletool CX (back pocket)
Bit driver kit + modified adapter to fit the LM (back pocket)
    Eraser (back pocket)
Red pen + pencil + ballpoint + erasable ballpoint
    Vic Classic
    Exchangeable Screwdriver set
Scissors (with a nylon protection pouch)
    Fenix E01

    Right side:

    Stapler
    Glue Stick
    Correction tape
6 inch/15cm ruler with conversion table (which I would love to replace with a Pocketwrench II, but I'm not giving $20 to Lee Valley for it, does anyone have a spare to ship cheap, maybe on a postcard  )
    Chalk (white, +colours)
    BeBook Mini e-reader (back pocket)

Samurai500, Thanks for the video. Ya know how they say "a picture is worth a thousand words"? Well a video with a narrative is worth a million! I really think they are the way to go to show these things fully and I plan on making one myself, when I have the time.

    Nice kit.

Very intersting to see the same pouches used for so many different things!

I really like the "pouch" idea... that way you can toss it into whatever bag you carry for the day (or pocket)... I have a Spec-Ops pouch and now i know what to do with it! Thanks!

A few years ago I was carrying a Spec-Ops Brand Dry-Cell On-Board BDU Cargo Pocket/Pack Organizer in my left thigh pocket every day. Had everything but my wallet in there. That way it took two seconds to empty my pockets before climbing into a cockpit for maintenance. After I was finished wearing a uniform the organizer lived in my laptop bag and carried all of the little cables and such needed to survive in corporate America. Nothing worse than not having your MP3 or camera cable when you need it. I think I need to get it back out and reload for today's mission.
