Very nice GH - looks like something you would make ;D
What are the dimensions on that 'skull' pouch??

A lot of items that are common per this thread. Some included that I haven't seen are: (1) full size garbage left side big pocket (poncho, other uses), 20' orange surveyor's tape and sharpie for leaving directions behind if you want to leave a trail and a mid-size breacher bar in the right side. A signal mirror, whistle and foam earplugs in the front pocket.
Sorry, I just saw this .. It fits a Smartphone, Blackberry/iPhone with room to spare for cards etc. .. ,)

Nice. Suggest an upgrade to your pen with a Zebra Telescopic. I love these pens, and you can upgrade them with Fisher pressurized refills.
You have some redundancies with tools, but if you want extras, then good.
The telescoping zebra pens sure do look nice Bolster, now to find somewhere that sells them in australia I haven't seen zebra pens much over here but then again I've never really looked.
I know the screw keys could be replaced by the Leatherman so they'll be moved out when i need more room. Anything else redundant you can see that could be moved to make more room.
My Maxpedition Micro came in today, so i get to swap everything over tonight, Woo hoo!! JR
I got this little organizer about a year ago. It was originally a shoe shine kit from IKEA.
I turned it in to an emergency travel kit.
• Shoe polish sponge
• Shower gel
• Body lotion
• A pair of scissors
• Shaving kit: razor, shaving cream
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Wet wipes
• Bottle opener, small LED-light, Sharpie
• Vanity kit: cotton balls, q-tips, band-aid, nail file (I guess it’s really for removing make-up etc.)
• Sewing kit
• Disinfection swab
• Some chewing gum
My Micro came in, so i filled it up and made a change, here's a few pic's JR
I changed the zipper pull to reflective para-cord, and instead of a knot, i put a whistle tip
Inside both sides,
Left side, duct tape, matches, pen, tums, advil, mini mag, notepad, 4-1 screwdriver, custom toothpic,
Right side, napkins, toothpicks, salt/pepper, safety pins, string, band aids, wipes, SAK
Update, i took the SAK out and put in a style, just no pic, sorry,, JR
Nice load out madplumbarian I'm really liking the size of the maxpedition micro what do you think, would you eventually upgrade to a bigger size
Yes/No as you can see its packed, i could always use more stuff, which means i would need a bigger bag. but this is just a pocket bag, i put it in my jacket and forget its there, nothing else will fit in the pocket. i normally carry a larger bag that has just about everything i need, but if i don't feel like caring it for a quick walk, or something to were im close to home ill have this one to lean back on. but yes its a good little pocket pack, nice size for the must have things! and here's why i got it, JR
that thing is only about 10lbs gets heavy after a while! But its packed!! what you see there isn't all the pockets dumped out just the main ones,, JR
Packed is right! Looks like you've got your bases covered pretty well. I would've said got everything but the kitchen sink, but you and I are never too far from a kitchen sink
Looks good man. I've needed to see the micro with something in it I would recognize, size wise. Seeing the mini mag has helped. I can know confidently buy "one more thing". Um, ...thanks
Sorry :^) and just so you know thats a 2xAAA maglite, not a 2xAA! although the AA would fit better in the strap, it probibly wouldnt let the case close,, JR
Oh and there's trash bags, straws and of coarse duct tape so i can make a kitchen sink :^b lol
take the water bottle, unscrew the top, insert straw, tape, take a paper clip or those black pinch things, so it wont let the water out, now take the trash bag, take a vine, bend so it fits in the bag, looped around a v-ed tree, set the bottle in the v, and there ya go, if you need water un-pinch the straw water flows, into the bag/sink, oh yeah cut the corner of the bag to where you want it to flow out of,, and poke a hole in the back of the bottle to let air in..
I think you could slim it down a little bit by running some smaller nylon pouches (or even LOKSAKs) to hold the items that are in those clear, hard plastic cases. The individual items may not be as easy to get at quickly, but they would take up less space in that bag. Just sayin'.. ;-)
Where did you get the whistle tip??
Googling "whistle cord lock" turns up some sources.
there called areowaves, the also make ones with a glow tip called areoheads, you can get these from most places that sell para-cord, but they want like $2-5 each, i bought mine from http://www.owfinc.com/catalog.html#here there under hardware, then plastic hardware, a new screen will pop up, then all the way to the bottom, there complete for under $.75 for a whistle (aerowave) and like $.45 for a complete glow or .$28 plain, and shipping is only $2.50, they also have all sorts of other stuff, this is where i got my stuff, its the cheapest i could find them together rather then ordering from tactical places for a fortune, hope this helps JR
