Share the contents of your smallish EDC kits. This one weighs in at 7.25 ounces and is basically the size of a deck of cards. As you can see, it’s got a little bit of everything.

I don't have a pic, but just about every day I have an Altoids based FAK in my left front pocket. It generally has:

    > a good assortment of 'band-aids';
    > some small one use packets of first aid cream, anti-itch cream, and the like;
    > small zip lock (the size you 'might' use to carry around a daily dosage; I bought them at Walmart) each containing one of the following:
    >> 81 mg aspirin
    >> 'Di-Gel' type tablets
    >> I've got some others in there but don't recall... (I need to do my annual inventory of my FAK's!)
    > a SAK classic
    > a Fresnel lens magnifier
    > Uncle Bill's Sliver Gripper Tweezers

The whole thing is aided in keeping closed with a 'ranger band' I made from a bike inner tube; also keeps the case from sliding out of pocket depending on which pants I'm wearing! ;)

    Am Yisrael Chai!

Sounds like a very useful kit, I like the idea of a Fresnel lens.

I don’t know if mine is considered smallish, but it is always in a cargo pocket
    [IMG]

Flashlight and SAK (or multitool) in to slot pockets. Normal I carry a smaller SAK and have a mini clipper lighter in the same slot, but I’m doing a challenge for another forum so it is a Champion or SwissChamp for the month and a Zippo in pocket. The SAK also always has a firefly in the toothpick slot and needle in pin slot with thread wrapped around bottom of corkscrew.

    Inside:
    - small ziploc FAK with 2 iodine wipes, 2x2 gauze, a few bandaids, streri-strips, first aid ointment, small tube benadryl gel and some otc meds
    - about 2ft of duct tape wrapped around credit card size fresnel lens
    - a couple individual wrapped dental floss packs and a finger toothbrush
    - a couple packs of Goody powder
    - a couple individually wrapped antibacterial hand wipes
    - coin towel
    - single use super glue
    - sliver gripper tweezers
    - quart size ziploc with 2 water purification tablets
    - couple pieces rite in rain paper and mini pen

I keep my kit in a Chums Surf Shorts wallet.

In the outside pocket I have Visine eye drops, nail clippers, and a mini-prybar. Sometimes the mini-prybar gets switched out for my Victorinox Cadet or Spyderco Ladybug hawkbill.

    On the inside I have:
    • Bandaids including finger tip and knuckle bandaids
    • 2 x 2 gauze
    • Slip N Snip scissors
    • Blistex lip ointment
    • Tylenol in a tiny Ziploc baggie
    • Spare work ID badge
Edit in response to jds1: No, I'm not a surfer, but I do kayaking including in the surf, stand up paddle boarding in the bay, swimming just for fun in pools and open water, and I used to be a pool lifeguard.

Is that a wrap of paper/cardboard on that single edge razor blade? What keeps it from coming off?

Simpleton Sam for me. 1 tool/knife, 1 fire starter, 1 flashlight, and 1 handkerchief. The chapstick is a bonus out here in the desert. Too :censored: dry.

Check Amazon. I think I bought either 3 or 7 or 10 of them as a single item? Each came with a sleeve... They're only plastic of course but for this sort of application just dandy.

Not sure if this counts as "kits" ...
    1. Keyring with ThruNite Ti3 AAA flashlight, Victorinox Manager (Mini-SAK), small whistle in right front pant pocket.
    2. Bandana with two pairs Nitril gloves and a 2"x2" gauze pad - as improvised trauma kit.
    3. One band-aid and a small alcohol cotton swap - as first aid kit.
