Hey - Nice to see you posting!

Recognise a few bits and pieces of your EDC there, though that's to be expected ;) (Cyrus and I worked together in real life for some time).

Spotted the iKit bag myself in a nearby store, thought about trying one out.

Is the x-mini better than the onboard speakers?

    Hi and welcome!

    You're German, wright?

    loudspeaker - speaker
    rucksack - backpack

Nice gear, love the rucksack, do you have a link to the shop or the manufacturer site? What was the price?

Did you try the "SRS PREMIUM SOUND" drivers for laptops? It boosted my on-board speakers by 30-40%

    Hey Tinyblob!

The new Samsung Q320 is worlds apart from my previous Samsung M30 sound system (JBL 2.1 integrated speakers). X-mini output quality certainly depends on the input quality and power. Laptops playing Dance & R&B makes the X-mini pounce across the desk. TV/Documentaries offer rich sound and transforms listening enjoyment. Rock and classical is a little lifeless - flat. iPhone & iPod shuffle outputs particularly well to the X-mini over all genre's I've tried. Excellent low price for what it is, well-engineered little device. Looking forward to their developments to cater for all sound genreā€™s.

    enki_ck :)

I drive a German car, other than that, people have thought I'm English/American/Scottish. Take your pick :D

SRS was enabled on my laptop when new. The output was radically quiet and then suddenly loud on the original speakers. I will certainly check out these "SRS PREMIUM SOUND" drivers - Thanks!

Where are the speaker grills on the Q320? I've noticed this new trend of downwards firing speakers and can't say I like it at all. I'll need to come check it out sometime!

They do fire downwards :( They sound equivalent to the average cell phone on loudspeaker.
Been looking at Canon/Nikon DSLR's btw. That big computer shop across the water is loaded with Camera's and lenses and accessories now. May want to check it out next time your over there.
