I don't have any but I'm doing my best to put some patina on my own knives so hopefully someday my son or grandsons can experience this.

I stopped carrying my Spyderco slipjoint because I kept misplacing them. Too much anxiety caused. Now I carry a CRKT Liong Mah #5 gifted to my by my fiancee. Not a huge problem if I lost it.

I inherited this Camillus from my grandfather 17 years ago. He carried it everyday. I just have it on my dresser....[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I have a pretty good track record of not losing knives.

But I have two of Grandpa's old Case knives that wouldn't risk losing. One stays in my desk drawer at work, the other in my toolbox at home...

I have several items that are close to me that hold great sentimental value and I rarely carry them for fear of losing them...... The Zippo my wife gave me on our first Christmas together, my dad’s gold dunhill, my great uncle’s pocket knives..... my edc spydercos I can replace easily but the others are irreplaceable.
