For those of you who know me somewhat I really don't go anywhere without my hat. I need help identifying the color and where I can purchase it. I thought I bought an OD green hat but I have no clue. The make is definitely Condor. It does not have a logo anywhere else but there used to be a tag. This is a picture of my hat next to an OD green condor of newer make. This is my favorite hat and it needs to be retired. Slowly falling apart. I'll try and find earlier photos maybe that'll help.
Looks like faded OD green to me. I think I have a field jacket that looks about like that. You're just going to have to wear it till it's broken in. Do you have any older color pictures of your original hat you can compare the new hat to?
It doesn't look like it changed too much in color...foliage? Just saw this Update: Truspec has something similar?
Where did you get the original? If online, are you able to check your old order by an email or by logging into the store account?
Bought in store. Army Surplus back in North St. Paul. I feel like it might be sage... the color has not changed since I got it besides the stains
It really does look like faded OD. A thing that OD is well known for doing. Your certain that the hat is a Condor, their listed color options of Olive Drab, Black, Tan, Navy & Brown, on their website. When you eliminate the other options what you are left with is the answer.
I'm not sure why you want to retire it. My advice is just find something you like and go with it. It's not like you have to match it to your shoes and purse. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
Great... you guys just made me buy that Condor flex hat in Coyote Brown. You did... I saw your finger on the mouse and heard the whispers in my ear.
got my Condor cap... really, really love it. so, as much as it was all of your fault, I do appreciate the outcome
Take off the patch and see what color it is where the sun and dust hasn't gotten to it. It looks like faded OD to me but it might well be sage. It could also be coyote brown, but I have a feeling it isn't. It's too green for that.
