Yes, I carry a Field Notes, RITR, Index Cards or one of those green military "memorandum" notebooks most all of the time. It just depends on what's going on when its time for a new one.

I keep a field notes in a recycled firefighter not book cover in my inner pocket and use it as a second memory/brain dump every single day! And by writing stuff down really help me remember more things and if a don't.. No worries cause it is already written down It's not failure if you learn something from it

I keep the 3x5 versions in all cars and bikes with a golf pencil in the wire binding to keep track of gas and maintenance. The pencil can also be used for tinder and is easily sharpened with my knife. Also carry one on field trips for taking notes and drawing. Awesome invention!
