Yes, I carry a Field Notes, RITR, Index Cards or one of those green military "memorandum" notebooks most all of the time. It just depends on what's going on when its time for a new one.

I keep a small Moleskine on me regularly. Also use a Fisher Bullet, but looking for a better option. I don't like the build up on the tip when the pen is not being used. [IMG]

I keep a field notes in a recycled firefighter not book cover in my inner pocket and use it as a second memory/brain dump every single day! And by writing stuff down really help me remember more things and if a don't.. No worries cause it is already written down

It's not failure if you learn something from it

I have a note pad in my bag that's to large to pocket carry so I'm always writing on my hands.

I keep the 3x5 versions in all cars and bikes with a golf pencil in the wire binding to keep track of gas and maintenance. The pencil can also be used for tinder and is easily sharpened with my knife. Also carry one on field trips for taking notes and drawing. Awesome invention!
