Well you have the right of it with the prize: the SAK is my favorite knife to carry. Currently I'm carrying a Vic Fieldmaster (it's basically the tinker with scissors and a saw), though sometimes I switch it for the smaller Cadet or the beefier Huntsman Lite. That takes care of pretty much any cutting jobs I have (I don't spend much time in the woods, I live in the burbs and don't really need anything super heavy duty.
We can't carry knives over here in Singapore but I guess multi-tools are 'acceptable'... I love my Leatherman Squirt S4 and I believe the knife on that is enough for general purposes (and I love the main scissors.. does that count? )
Just joined and thought I would throw my name in the hat. My favorite EDC knife now is a Blade-Tech Pro-Hunter Extreme. I feel good balance of size and utility vs. SD use. Great all-around folder for my Urban living/Outdoor loving lifestyle.
Thank you for the contest pipedreams! Currently, the plain edge Spyderco stainless steel Delica 4 with a VG-10 blade is my favorite EDC.
Nice contest and congrats on the 1 month anniversery! Favorite EDC: Strider SnG. Not much I can't get done with it. Edit: Want to add, Nice Dupont lighter in your picture Peter. Got one myself. O0
All-time favorite is the Spyderco Delica...Military is a close second, however. Thanks for the contest and congrats on the first month - hopefully there will be many more to come! O0
Case Saddlehorn because I don't have really any other pocket knives and it was given to me by my grandfather years ago who passed on a little over a year ago. Simple design, but hasn't let me down yet!
I wish I had an unqualified favorite. They're either to big or have a poor handle or soft steel. It will have to be my Spyderco Native S30V based upon how much it gets carried. Thanks
