    Hi, first post.

What are some EDC books? I'm looking for books with valuable reference material that's not too big and can fit in a backpack. I know about Pocket Ref by Thomas Glover, but are there any others worth having?

Collins Gem make really cool little books that are small on size but big on information. I have the SAS survival guide which sounds militaristic but is in reality just a good book full of sound survival advice. A lot of the text / diagrams seems to be lifted from Lofty Wisemans SAS survival book. Good little book, easy to EDC.

The same guy that makes Pocket Ref also makes Handyman in your pocket. Same sized book, just as much info, but pertains more to occupations in the trades. And there is also Desk Ref which is both of those books in one. Easily small enough for a backpack though.

Does anyone know if there is a digital version of the Pocket Ref available for a computer or eReader?
