Heyaz, My addiction to EDC and useful tools in general started with my dad. He always had those gigantic plastic flashlights(with the big D battery) in his cars and has a multitool and a handkerchief on him all the time. He carries a socket toolkit in a small case and he's a man's man but hands on kinda guy. I gave him a Fenix UC35 a while back and he fell in love with it instantly and now he says he wants another for the car for Father's Day. He looks at my overly large but highly organized keychain and wonders what purpose they have. He was a police officer for many years as well running the MP's for years until he retired. My most favorite pieces of my EDC: Casio Gshock Rangeman(Excellent watch with great features like the digital compass) SpecOps T.H.E Wallet Jr(It has space for lots including first aid packs) FNH FNS 9c(Soft shooting, with a great trigger and aggressive grip) Cold Steel Recon 1(Very close to a fixed blade and a fantastic work horse) Here's a good look at them. My edc is functional, purposeful and can get many jobs done if necessary.
